Joy Lane was a wonderful example of a design working in harmony with its surroundings. To the front of the plot is the sea view and to the back a beautiful backdrop of trees and greenery. When purchased the site housed a small bungalow with a large overgrown garden. The architect was able to create a home that found the maximum potential in the site, making the best of the expected views. With first floor living involving a front balcony leading from the lounge area to allow far reaching sea views and an Atrium to the rear creating a gallery and sun room looking out to the garden. With four double bedrooms and three bathrooms down stairs the floor plan was centred around a feature spiral staircase.
